Delicious Breakfast Recipes

i started my morning with Paula Dean and the food network channel. let me say when you just wake up and are starving this isn't the greatest thing to be watching but i love food! any who, my sisters are graduating high school in 3 days and i've promoted myself to second head cook. so i've found a few fun recipes which i will hopefully be perfecting this weekend or soon when patty comes to town. let me know if you have any delicious morning recipes i should try!

Hash- Brown Eggs


Fry 1 cup each chopped onion and grated potato in a cast-iron skillet with butter until crisp. Add 1/2 cup grated cheddar and crack in 2 eggs. Bake at 425 degrees F until set; top with salsa.

Impossibly Easy Breakfast Bake (Crowd Size)
Breakfast Bake
2packages (12 oz each) bulk pork sausage
1medium bell pepper, chopped (1 cup)
1medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
3cups frozen hash brown potatoes
2cups shredded Cheddar cheese (8 oz)
1cup Original Bisquick® mix
2cups milk
1/4teaspoon pepper
4eggs




  • 1Heat oven to 400°F. Grease rectangular baking dish, 13x9x2 inches. Cook sausage, bell pepper and onion in 10-inch skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until sausage is no longer pink; drain. Stir together sausage mixture, potatoes and 1 1/2 cups of the cheese in baking dish.

  • 2Stir Bisquick mix, milk, pepper and eggs until blended. Pour into baking dish.

  • 3Bake uncovered 40 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 1 to 2 minutes longer or just until cheese is melted. Cool 5 minutes.
